Tiramisu is no longer a pure recipe, it has become a way to cook a few desserts. Hence we have Strawberry Tiramisu, tiramisu made with Pandoro leftovers or Tiramisu Recipe With Eggs. The more summer versions of cream and berries or an exotic fruit like pineapple.

We started from the traditional Genoese pasta recipe to prepare this tiramisu cake and we used a non-alcoholic coffee-based bath but you can also use a rum bath.

Playful and colorful are the chocolate chip cookies available, if you have other ideas try them, maybe dark chocolate rolls or chocolate puff cookies!

PREPARATION OF TIRAMISU CAKE

You need to cook the Genoese pasta according to the basic recipe for the tiramisu dish. Turn it upside down on a wire rack for cakes, and let it cool. Cut this horizontally into 3 bits. For the coffee dip: collect the sugar and water in a saucepan. Bring them to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar and simmer for 5 minutes.

Traditional Tiramisu Recipe With Eggs

The tiramisu is a traditional dessert of Italian cuisine, particularly popular because it combines the strong and rich taste of coffee, mascarpone delicacy and fragrance of ladyfingers.
It is prepared from north to south of our country and its authorship is disputed by Piedmont, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto and Tuscany.

In the original tiramisu recipe there are ingredients such as eggs, sugar, mascarpone, ladyfingers, coffee and bitter cocoa, with the addition (of your choice) of Marsala to flavour, but there are many other variations of this dessert: among the most popular, the one that uses sponge cake as base, or more complex variants such as strawberry tiramisu, pistachio, white chocolate and even tiramisu.

A traditional recipe for tiramisu and always appreciated at dessert time.

Strawberry Tiramisu: Easiest Way To Make

Having overcome the annoying cold of the past winter, we definitely want a fresher and even tastier tiramisu than the traditional one, where ladyfingers meet coffee and mascarpone; in short, the version of the traditional tiramisu is certainly perfect for the winter season, while for the summer with the arrival of the real heat it is necessary to try something different and fresher.

Strawberry Tiramisu

So let’s leave aside the coffee and cocoa, and prepare today’s recipe or that of the strawberry tiramisu. It is a fresh and tasty dessert, ideal especially for children, since in this version there is also no coffee, and excellent to be consumed both for a tasty and nutritious snack and for a tasty end of the meal to finish your lunch in large style.

  • Eggs: 3 pcs
  • Sugar: 60 GRAMS
  • Lemon Juice To TASTE
  • Strawberries: 200 GRAMS
  • Ladyfingers: 7-8 LADYFINGERS

Directions for preparation
Preparation Time: 30 minutes

Preparation

Wash the strawberries, cut them into small pieces and leave them to marinate with a few teaspoons of sugar and a little lemon juice for at least 1 hour (if you are in a hurry instead of leaving them to marinate you can take 1/3 of the strawberries and blend them).

In the meantime, prepare the mascarpone cream. Divide the reds from the whites of the eggs. Beat the reds with the sugar until they become frothy and light. Now gently add the mascarpone and mix it.

Beat the whites until stiff peaks and mix them together. Cut the ladyfingers into small pieces.

Divide the strawberries from the juice they have released and pour the juice into a bowl with the ladyfingers (or if you have blended the strawberries, pour the puree).

Pour some of the Savoy into a shot glass. Pour a little mascarpone cream over it. Finally pour the pieces of strawberries and decorate with a little fresh mint.

If you want, if you have larger containers, you can make several layers of ladyfingers, cream and strawberries.

Tips

Prepare this dessert only when the strawberries are in season; therefore, avoid taking strawberries out of season because they will cost much more and above all it will be a greenhouse product or in any case not Italian.

Curiosity

To obtain an even fresher and more delicate result, tiramisu with strawberries can also be prepared with robiola instead of mascarpone and the addition of white yogurt for the cream.
