The tiramisu is a traditional dessert of Italian cuisine, particularly popular because it combines the strong and rich taste of coffee, mascarpone delicacy and fragrance of ladyfingers.
It is prepared from north to south of our country and its authorship is disputed by Piedmont, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Veneto and Tuscany.
In the original tiramisu recipe there are ingredients such as eggs, sugar, mascarpone, ladyfingers, coffee and bitter cocoa, with the addition (of your choice) of Marsala to flavour, but there are many other variations of this dessert: among the most popular, the one that uses sponge cake as base, or more complex variants such as strawberry tiramisu, pistachio, white chocolate and even tiramisu.
A traditional recipe for tiramisu and always appreciated at dessert time.
